Michael Wamsley Awarded Leadership 2.0 Scholarship by Manufacturers’ Representatives Council

ATLANTA, Georgia – July 18, 2024 – Michael Wamsley, director of sales and service for N.A. Williams, is the 2024 Manufacturers’ Representatives Council recipient of the Leadership 2.0 scholarship.

 

“Michael is well-deserving of this scholarship and taking part in the Leadership 2.0 program will be a great opportunity for Michael to expand his leadership and business skills,” said Chris Williams, president and CEO of N.A. Williams. “We want to commend the Manufacturers’ Representatives Council for recognizing Michael and thank the University of the Aftermarket Foundation for funding this scholarship.”

 

Leadership 2.0 is a post-graduate style education program designed to promote the development of the next generation of auto care leaders and is comprised of two, five-day sessions. Session I will be held Aug. 11-15, 2024, at the Northwood University campus in Midland, Michigan and Session II will be held March 9-13, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

 

“I believe the knowledge gained through the Leadership 2.0 program will allow me to expand my range and value,” said Wamsley. The value that I can bring back to our customers, my teammates and peers is my number one priority for attending this educational program. Rising tides raise all ships. I am finding more and more that I receive back tenfold when I give and work on lifting others up. I look forward to being able to share my best practices while attending the Leadership 2.0 program.”

 

The Manufacturers’ Representative Council supports and promotes the interests, image, and value of the Auto Care Association’s manufacturers’ representative member firms. The council provides a platform for manufacturers’ representatives to address common industry best practices and enhance their professional skills.
