John Bender earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Tampa in Finance and Economics. Upon graduation Bender started his career at Heli-Coil a Division of Stanley Engineered Fasteners where he served in a variety of sales and management positions, advancing to Director of Sales & Marketing.

In 1990, Bender purchased and became a partner at Mote-Osborne & Associates an Atlanta-based automotive agency. Mote-Osborne & Associates merged in 2006 with the Charles W Glass Agency and formed Accelerated Sales & Marketing. In 2015 Accelerated Sales & Marketing merged with N.A. Williams Co.

Bender currently serves as Vice President and General Manager for the NA Williams Traditional Distribution and Program Group Division. Bender currently serves on the Auto Care Association Manufacturers’ Representative Council and is its representative to AWDA. Bender also serves in various capacities with a number of non-profit organizations.
