Gerardo is experienced in the retail and commercial sectors of the auto parts and other specialized industries in Latin America. He started his career at Organización Soriana (Mexico’s second largest supermarket retail chain) where from 2001 to 2006 he held various positions in merchandising, import/export, supply chain, and private label product development. In 2006, Gerardo joined AutoZone de Mexico to help the merchandising team get started in an unknown market. He worked there for almost 10 years in different roles, including Senior Category Manager for hard parts and sales floor lines, Director of Visual Merchandising, and Commercial Director.
Gerardo joined the N.A. Williams team in March 2016. Since then, his experience in managing both retail accounts and specialty markets throughout Latin America has helped N.A. Williams provide a unique menu of value-added services to manufacturers.
Gerardo is a native of Guatemala and has lived in several countries since 1997. He currently holds a degree in International Business & Finance from Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM) and a Global MBA from Thunderbird School of Business.
Gerardo and his family currently live in Monterrey, Mexico.
